Radio, TV to improve in Chitral

 

CHITRAL, 02 Oct 06: Television transmissions from PTV Peshawar to Chitral which were earlier being transmitted through Microwave signals will now be transmitted through sattelite channel. This was disclosed by PTV Chitral incharge engineer Haji Dawood.  Similarly PTV Peshawar transmissions will soon be viewable in Booni and Drosh he said.

 

Radio Pakistan Chitral is carrying out an extension program in its transmissions and the transmitter power is substantially being increased, Necessary equipment has reached Chitral and land bought in Bakarabad for the purpose, it was learnt here. (Mian Muhammad Ali Shah)
