CHITRAL, 21 Feb 2010: Virulent protest by the people of Drosh made the power house function late Saturday night, as protesters refused to budge from their stand blocked the roads repaired the power channel themselves and forced the spoilt technical staff to perform their duties.

 

Sadly enough it was the buzz of the day that the Government understands the language of protests and disruptions only and genuine demands put forward in a civilised manner go unheeded with the authorities these days. --(GH Farooqi)
