Chitral hospitals short of Doctors
CHITRAL, 23 Jan 10: Twenty posts of Medical officers (BPS-17), one post
of Medical Specialist, 1 post of Gynecologist (BPS-18), one post of
Children specialist, 1 Surgical Specialist and one post of Dental
Surgeon are lying vacant in the 3 Tehsil Headquarters Hospitals of
Drosh, Booni and Garam Chashma since a long.time said Executive District
Health Officer Dr Sher Qayum on Friday. The Drosh hospital
established in 1920 has hardly changed since then say the locals.
People have demanded filling up of Doctors vacancies and make up for the
lack of Equipment in Drosh hospital and all other Tehsil hospitals
