Hunter bags Ibex trophy
A Chitrali hunter Prince Saif Ali of Gehret, brought down a Himalayan
Ibex in Akram game reserve Arkari on 7th January 2010. The horns of the
Ibex measured 50 inches, which may possibly be a record trophy here. He
was accompanied by Shahfiq Ullah Khan Range Officer Wildlife Chitral.
The jubilant hunter said that it was all due to the hard work of DFO
Imtiaz Hussain, wildlife division Chitral that so many Ibex were seen in
the valley and the conservation was being done very satisfactorily.
Prince Saif is the first Pakistani to formally buy a permit and hunt
ibex in Chitral. --(BH Azad)
