Tunnel: Information void

Ever since the Lowari tunnel has opened for use @ two hours daily there
are different rumours floating about the status of the tunnel. Sometimes
it is rumoured that the tunnel is closed on Sundays while soon after it
is refuted. Sometimes it is said that it will close permanently as the
contract was for one month while sometimes it is said that the tunnel
will remain open the whole day while work inside will be carried out at
night. The NHA has yet to give any official handout about the status of
the tunnel which is encouraging rumours mongering . It is strange that
such a huge organisation eating up millions of rupees of the national
exchequer daily, is unable to issue official handouts through the
press and TV about actual status of the tunnel, leaving it open to all
kinds of rumours/disinformation adding to the woes of the commuters. --(CN report)

کے بارے میں افواہوں کا تدارک کیا جایے

ٹنل کے بارے میں آیے روز مختلف افواہ مسافروں میں بے چینی پیدا کررہے ہیں.
کبھی کہا جاتا ہے کہ ٹنل اتوار کو بند رکھا جاتا ہے تو کبھی کچھ مگر این
ایچ اے کی جانب سے ابتک کوئی ہینڈ آوٹ جاری نہیں ہوا ہے جو کہ ان افواہوں
کا موجب بن رہا ہے. این ایچ ے کو چااہے کہ کم از کم ہرہفتے میں ایک بار
ہینڈ آوٹ جاری کریں جس میں ٹنل کے بارے میں مفصل معلومات موجود ہوں تاکہ
افواہوں کی وجہ سے مسافروں کو جو بلا وجہ کوفت ہوتی ہے اس سے بچا جاسکے
