Juvenile Delinquency on
the increase
Chitral 21 Dec 09: : Juvenile delinquency is reportedly on the increase
in Chitral at a worrying rate!. Cases of petty thefts in the villages
and shop lifting/ breaking in the bazaars which were not heard of few
decades ago, are now a common feature, mostly involving teenagers or
young men who are free floating in the society without any sense of
direction. The state has failed to make adequate arrangements to engage
young people in healthy activities, provide them Oppurtunities to grow.
On the other hand it has also failed to check the uncontrolled growth of
population without catering for their needs, with the result that more
and more young social offenders are being created by the adverse
conditions. --(

اور چوری ہو یا گاؤں میں چھوٹی موٹی چوری کے واقعات سب میں نوجوان ملوث
پائے جاتے ہیں . وجوہات میں آبادی میں بے لگام اضافہ اورریاست کی جانب سے
نوجوانوں کیلے روشن راه دکھانا اور ان کو صحت مندانہ زندگی میسر کرنے کے
