Tunnel usage meeting soon
Chitral, 12 Dec 09. A high level meeting concerning the usage of
the Lowari tunnel would soon be held in Islamabad CN learnt from good
authority. It is expected that decision on opening the tunnel for
regular traffic round the clock would be considered in the meeting. It
may be noted that there is a strong suggestion to ask the NHA to
concentrate on the smaller tunnel during the period of Lowari pass
closure and allow the main tunnel to be used for traffic including heavy
traffic. In this way work would not suffer as all available effort
would be diverted to the secondary tunnel thus leaving the main tunnel
for use by travelers until the Lowari pass road opens, when the
finishing part of the main tunnel can be undertaken.. --(CN report)
لواری ٹننل
پر اہم اجلاس متوقع
معتبرذریعے سے معلوم ہوا ہے کہ لواری ٹننل
پر اہم اجلاس اسلام آباد میں عنقریب منعقد ہو گا جس میں ٹننل کے استعمال پر
غور و خوص کیا جائیگا. یہ تجویز عوام میں زور پکڑتی جا رہی ہے کہ لواری
پاس راستہ بند ہونے کی مدت میں چھوٹے ٹننل پربھر پورکام کیا جائے اور بڑے
ٹننل کو ٹریفک' جس میں بھاری ٹریفک شامل ہے کیلیے چوبیس گھنٹے کھول دیا
جائے. اس طرح تعمیراتی کام بھی متاثر نہیں ہوگا اور عوام کو بھی ضروری
