CHITRAL, 05 Oct 09. Eleven people are reported dead including on female, while five others were critically injured, in an accident on the Lowari pass. A passenger Toyota land cruiser which was coming from Dir to Chitral with 14 passengers met the accident in Gujar village on the lee side of the pass at 1400 hrs on Sunday. Those who died in the accident include Inayatur Rehman son of Murad Khan resident of Oweer, Naveedullah son of Sultan Muhammad of Temergara, Sharifullah son of Rahmatullah of Ayun, Misal khan son of Purdil Khan of Shah Mansoor Swabi his wife Mrs. Noor Aftaba who belongs to Faizabad village Chitral and his youngest son Shamsher Khan, Sartaj Driver son of Ameen Khan Qashqari of Dir, Usman Ghani son of Mukhtiar of Dir, Ihsanullah son of Haji Wazir Afghan refugee settled at Chitral and Muzaffar Abbas son of Huzoor Muhammad of Haveli Gulab Shah district Jhang Punjab while the injured persons were Waqar Ahmad, Habibur Rehman, Tariq and Ihsanullah. --(GH Farooqi)
