JUI Amir dies of cardiac arrest

CHITRAL, June 22: Former MPA from Chitral and District Amir of JUI-F Moulana Muhammad Jahangir Khan died of cardiac arrest in Chitral.

DHQ hospital sources told this scribe that Jehangir was rushed to the hospital but he could not survive and died on his way to way to District Headquarters Hospital Chitral.

He had lost to sitting MPA Ghulam Muhammad of PML-Q by 150 votes in the provincial assembly constituency from chitral in the last general elections.

Maulana Jehangir will be buried in his ancestral graveyard in upper Chitral on Tuesday. --(Zahiruddin)
