Driver Union President embezzles millions

PESHAWAR, 18 June 09: : Driver Union Chitral president Mumtaz Ali Jan has embezzled millions of rupees of the Union's funds, alleges rival unionist, Mohyuddin, president Terichmir drivers union. He presented detailed accounts of the drivers union income and expenditures to the press, according to which Mumtaz Ali Jan has embezzled Rs 1,28,38400/- and now claims not having a penny in the union's account. Mohyuddin said soon new elections to the drivers union would be held and the person would face accountability for being dishonest to the trust reposed in him by the drivers.
