APM demands tunnel work resumption

CHITRAL, 17 May 09: A meeting of heads/ representatives of all political parties in Chitral  presided over by the district nazim was held at the mountain inn hotel on Saturday. The meeting expressed concern over the suspension of work on the Lowari tunnel and demanded it's immediate resumption. The meeting also demanded exemption of Chitral district from forced closure of schools, as they said schools have already been closed for three months in winters and further lengthy closure would ruin the educational cycle of students . --(CN report)
