Educational Institute is inviting applications for its annual Early
Childhood Development Teachers’ Camp (ECD-TTC) to be offered in July
2012 at its premises at Seenlasht, Chitral. The program offered in

The curriculum of this program combines two internationally

Curriculum and Learning Through Play parental education materials,
tailoring them to the specific cultural and environmental context of
Chitral. The program is run by well trained and experienced early
childhood educators lead by a volunteer ECD specialist from the

particularly to the mountain society conditions of Chitral which
include child development, learning environment, health and
nutrition, observation and assessment, early childhood teaching
strategies, learning through play techniques for parents and grand
parents, journal writing and follow up discussions as well as
provision of a start up resource kit. Further, a future follow up
professional development training will build on the experience and
impact of this current training program.

August 4, 2012. The participants are expected to arrive on Sunday,
July 8, 2012 and attend an orientation on Sunday, July 8, 2012. From

the opportunity to prepare teaching materials and be part of
personal development sessions such as English enhancement and ECD
