Private College building gutted by fire

Chitral -- A private college located in Chitral town at Balach near the Airport was gutted by fire during the night. 'Decent' college with 500 enrolled students, imparted education to both boys and girls in different shifts for FA/FSc, BA/BSc, MA/MSc, BEd faculties. Students of the college have been showing some promising results in the board conducted examinations. Owner of the building Muhabat Khan, said he estimates a loss of Rs 10 million due to the fire.Principal of the College Sardar Ahmad Khan and owner of the building have not apportioned blame on any one for the incident.  --GH Farooqi, 28 Dec 2010
