Milestone: Army first time in Chitral

Chitral -- After the disastrous incursions by cross border terrorists into Chitral's Arandu border killing dozens of scouts personnel manning the security posts, the regular army has decided to protect the borders, for the time being at least.

Contingents of the Pak army including Engineers who would repair the blown up bridges, have started rolling into Chitral, giving both anxiety and confidence to the people.

Known for peace lovingness and tranquil life style, the Chitrali people would for the first time ever see hard core military operatives entering their land 'to protect them from any further  misadventurism from across the Afghanistan border'.--(CN report, GH Farooqi, 13 Sep 2011.)
